Fudamental Skill

                                                                     Early Childhood

Fundamental skills are important because it is crucial for children to learn athletic skills at a young age. I think that children who learn motor skills at a young age and learn to play sports actually end up becoming healthier as they grow older, rather than not participating in sports at a young age. All through school you play in physical education class, learning how to play certain sports, but no matter the sport, they all share something in common, and that is the need for common motor skills.

Break

I helped train a team for soccer over the break. I had to connect with the players in a way that would make them push themselves harder to achieve their goals. As I got into learning how to train players, it was easier for me to explain what they had to do during training sessions.
